It is not Compulsory for KVIC, But it Reflects Our Respect to Father of Nation

It is not compulsory that we have to follow our national culture and heritage like Gandhiji must be promoted as icon in every booklets, diaries or calendar at The Khadi & Village Industries Commission.

It is not compulsory that we always remember his contribution for the country.

It is not compulsory that we have to respect Father of Nation all the time.

It is not compulsory that we value His prolonged wish that actually worked well to set up KVIC.

It is not compulsory that we cannot replace the icon of Gandhiji with popular political leaders, film stars or anyone like that in present age; because we need to sell the products of KVIC and we can use any popular person as brand icon.

Khadi was the dream of Gandhiji. His emotion, feelings and sentiment were deeply associated with Khadi.

It is shame for the nation that we are going to remove Gandhiji who has been used as national icon since after independence on the Calendar of KVIC. Also we are forgetting that once this trend is set for ever, every political party will use it to promote their leaders in Khadi calendar after reaching at power.

Death Claim due to disease may be treated as accident and must be honoured by Insurer.

We should appreciate the move of National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission on issuance of order that directs insurance companies to pay policy compensation to consumers if the death of policy holder is caused by any disease that is happened to be a accident or unexpected event.

Usually insurance companies brings the policy holder under policy after checking medical records thoroughly at starting of policy.

If the policy holder falls in a disease after the starting date of policy that must be considered as an accident which happens unexpectedly  and is not planned in advance.

Therefore death claims related to this kind of disease should be honoured by the insurance companies.
